Windermere High School Alumni Association
Former students of WHS with a desire to keep in touch with each other and the school, and to work along with the school in whatever way possible may do so by being involved in the Alumni Association. Membership is open to those who been students at the school.
WHS Alumni Association consists of about a thousand members, many are involved in helping to build up the Bahamas. Just to name some of the positions that are being held by WHS Alumni are as follows: Two doctors, a Member of Parliament, a District Education Officer, a Chief Counselor in Local Government, a Lawyer, two ordained Ministers, many lay ministering men and women of God. Some are nurses, teachers, policemen, Defense Force Officers, architects, carpenters, masons, engineers, executives, businessmen and women. Some work with the National Insurance Board, in Banking and many work in the tourist industry such as taxi-drivers, front desk clerks, business administration, and in many areas in the hotel industry. These men and women are touching lives in every area of our society.
