UNIFORM: For Classroom 8:30am – 3:30pm & Special Occasions
CRESTS & TIES- Crests can be purchased at the school for $5.00 and need to be
securely attached to left blouse or shirt
pocket. Ties can be purchased for $6.00 & $8.00 and are a daily part of school dress.
BOYS- Navy pants and white shirt. No jeans. No jeans material. No
outside pockets.
Must
wear black belt. No earrings. Neat short haircuts. One chain (not large).
GIRLS- Skirts made from uniform plaid with one and one half (1.5)
inch waistband and one (1) inch pleats and at least knee length, with white
blouse. Girls will not wear hair weaving. Only one pair of small earrings and a
necklace. No nail polish, lipstick, etc.
SHOES AND SOCKS: Shoe color must be ALL BLACK, low cut,
buckled, laced or tied, all closed in. No tennis, canvas, sandals or thong-type
shoes are permitted to class. Socks may be white or blue (boys can also wear
black). Only white t-shirts can be worn under blouse/shirt
JACKETS & SWEATERS: Students are only allowed to wear Navy Blue jackets or sweaters on cold days.
PHYSICAL EUCATION REQUIREMENTS: FOR GRADE 7-10- tennis shoes, and
the WHS Physical Education uniform, (T-shirt, pants) are to be purchased
for $35.00 from WHS. Physical education uniforms are to be worn for practicing
of all sports after school, and playing games against other schools.
ITEMS TO BRING: Dormitory students bring the following:

Two single bed sheets, pillowcases, blanket, personal toiletries, (pillow if you wish).ITEMS NOT TO BRING: Dormitory students should NOT bring: Valuables such as jewelry, radios, headphones, tape recorders, walkmans, CD's, cell phones, beepers, Discmans, fireworks, earrings for boys, political or zodiac symbols, etc.

Additional fees due at registration:
Physical Education Uniform; $35 (shorts, shirt, cap). Required by
Grades 7-10 and as needed by sports teams.

*Non-Eleuthera students are responsible for transportation to and from the
airports.
If total tuition and room and board are paid before school starts a 5% discount
is given and a 5% discount is given for the 2nd child.
Bursaries and grants available to suitably qualified applicants.
Bussing fees: For those riding the bus for weekends the annual fee is:
Governor’s Harbour- $320.00, James Cistern - $480.00, Hatchet Bay - $560.00,
Gregory Town - $640.00,
Upper / Lower Bogue - $720.00, Three Island Dock - $800.00, Airports (GH, RS) -
$40.00 per trip
Tarpum Bay - $100.00 monthly
Music Lessons: $70.00 per year if you use a WHS instrument, $30.00 if you use your own instrument. Students need to have a workable knowledge of lines, spaces and timing.
Sports: Every student participating on a school team will be required to make a deposit for the value of the uniform he/she will be using, prior to playing on the team. All but $10.00 of their deposit will be refunded. (E.g. $60.00 deposit-$50.00 refund upon the return of uniform.)
Tuition & Boarding Installment Payment Plan Schedule:
Per term: 1/3 of the total cost payable on the 1st
Tuesday in September, (September 4, 2007),
3rd Monday in November, (November 19, 2007),
3rd Monday in February (February 18, 2008).
9 Monthly Payments: (September 1 to May 2) Total tuition and
Boarding Fees divided by 9 months.
Delinquent Fees Policy: Each payment of fees is to be paid by the first Monday of the month. A two-week grace period will be given. 1 ˝ % per month will be added for the overdue fees. If payment is not made by the third Monday of the month, the student will not be allowed to enter the dorm or attend classes until that payment is made in full.
Note: All school fees must be paid by the first Monday in May before final exams and graduation.
Note: Windermere High School reserves the right to make such changes in this fee schedule as may, in the judgment of the administration, be in accordance with sound management.
*ALL GRADE 10 STUDENTS NEED TO BRING (MEDICAL) YELLOW CARDS ON REGISTRATION DAY.

OPENING OF SCHOOL
For ALL new students and their parents: Tuesday September 4th, 2007- Students and parents registration and orientation from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 all returning students come by 8:40 am.
